I'll admit it, I'm not really into the Hallmark-style christmas. I actually grew up celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah, so I was able to enjoy both traditions which was awesome. But in terms of an all-American Christmas, I've never seen a Miracle on 34th street or A Christmas Story. And I don't really understand the concept of an ugly sweater party. I would probably wear this as my choice of holiday sweater (it's more glittery than it looks in these photos--with gold thread).
So what is Christmas for me this year? We'll I'll be celebrating it eating walnut prawns, hot & sour soup, and Szechwan chicken at a local Chinese restaurant with the fam. Sounds awesome to me.
The weather in the Bay Area (and the whole US) seems especially awful this winter, with crazy storms and such. It makes me jealous of the beautiful, warm weather in Australia right now given it's summer for them (right?). Well even though they are wearing summer clothes right now, I didn't let it stop me from styling up this summer skirt from Arnhem. I can wear it now with tights but then break it out again in the summer. Double whammy!

I actually love sweater weather. We rarely get that here in the Philippines. It didn't even start getting cooler up until 2-3 days ago and it's already Christmas eve later! It's still not cool enough though. Wish I could experience winter too, for a change. You look lovely! :)
